THE BEST SOLUTIONS OFTEN START WITH THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

What can Severn Financial help me with?

We help individuals, families and business owners plan their finances. Our services cover pensions and retirement planning, savings and investments, mortgages, and protection for you, your family or your business.

BOOK A MEETING
Do I need to have everything organised before contacting you?

No. You may have a clear goal, a specific question or simply want to understand where you stand. We can help you bring the information together and identify your next steps.

BOOK A MEETING
What happens at the first meeting?

We’ll talk about your circumstances, what matters to you and what you would like to achieve. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions and understand how we work. We’ll explain any proposed next steps and the costs involved before you decide whether to proceed.

BOOK A MEETING
How much does financial advice cost?

The cost depends on the advice and support you need. We’ll explain our fees, how they are paid and what they cover before you commit. Where we receive commission from a provider, we’ll explain this too.

BOOK A MEETING
Do I need a large amount of money to seek advice?

You don’t need to be wealthy to start a conversation. Advice can be useful at different stages of life, whether you’re buying a home, protecting your family, building savings or planning for retirement. We’ll discuss whether our services are appropriate for your needs.

BOOK A MEETING
Can you review pensions or investments I already have?

Yes. We can review your existing arrangements and help you understand how they fit with your goals. A review does not automatically mean making a change — keeping an existing plan may be the right outcome.

BOOK A MEETING
Can you help me understand when I could retire?

We can help you explore what retirement might look like, the income you may need and how your pensions, savings and other assets could support you. We’ll discuss the assumptions involved and revisit the plan as your circumstances change.

BOOK A MEETING
My mortgage deal is ending. Can you help?

Yes. We can review your circumstances and explore your options, including a new deal with your existing lender or a remortgage elsewhere. Getting in touch before your current deal ends gives us time to consider the available options.

BOOK A MEETING
Can you help with life insurance and other protection?

Yes. We can help you consider how you or your family would manage financially following a death, serious illness or loss of income. We’ll explain the available cover, its cost and the relevant exclusions so you can make an informed choice.

BOOK A MEETING
Do you advise business owners?

Yes. We help business owners with their personal financial planning and relevant business needs, including retirement planning and business protection. Where appropriate, we can work alongside your accountant or solicitor.
