Ed Price is an experienced financial adviser based in Mumbles, Swansea, with more than a decade of experience in financial services.

From Severn Financial’s new office, opening shortly at Newton Road in the heart of Mumbles, Ed provides friendly, straightforward financial advice to individuals, families and business owners throughout Swansea, the Gower and across South Wales.

Ed specialises in retirement planning, pension advice, investments, mortgages and financial protection. Whether someone is approaching retirement, reviewing existing pensions and investments, buying a home or looking to protect their family, Ed helps them understand their options and make confident financial decisions.

His approach is personal and practical. Ed takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances, priorities and plans for the future before recommending a tailored financial strategy. His aim is to make financial planning easier to understand and to build long-term relationships with the individuals and families he advises.

Before moving into financial advice, Ed worked as an adviser support manager and paraplanner. This experience, combined with his Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) and Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), enables him to provide joined-up advice across pensions, investments, mortgages and protection.

Having spent much of his early career in Cardiff, where he also attended university, Ed returned to Swansea to be closer to his roots and raise his three young children near the beaches of Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula.

Outside work, Ed enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family. Having previously played semi-professional rugby, he now channels his competitive spirit into the challenges—and occasional frustrations—of golf.
